The practical outcome is that the user can operate a session solo. No dedicated technician needed on the outside.

- Handles daily use over 8–10 years of expected service life
- Works for both a private home and a small commercial wellness or recovery studio
Common deployment scenarios: home wellness rooms, boutique recovery studios, SPA and salon back-of-house, gym add-on services, dealer showrooms.
If you need a two-person seat, the H402 double shell or D201 cylinder are the closer fit. If you need to fold the chamber away between uses, look at the S158 or S159 soft-shell instead.

OB-H301 Questions
Is the OB-H301 a mini hyperbaric chamber or a full-size unit?
The OB-H301 is a mini hyperbaric chamber — 140 × 100 × 190 cm, 1.4 m² footprint. Small enough to fit a spare room, structurally rated for the full 1.1–2.0 ATA operating range.
How is this different from a small hyperbaric chamber that's basically an inflatable bag?
Two different product classes. Inflatable soft-shell chambers cap out at 1.5 ATA, weigh 18–24 kg, and fold down for storage. The OB-H301 is a hard-shell chamber — Q235 carbon steel pressure vessel, 600 kg, 2.0 ATA ceiling, designed for permanent installation and long-term daily operation.
Do I need a prescription to buy the OB-H301?
No. We sell as a personal wellness device, not a medical device. That said — see “Who shouldn’t use one” below, and talk to your physician if anything on that list applies to you. The fact that we don’t require a prescription doesn’t mean the safety list doesn’t matter.
Is this the same as a clinical monoplace chamber?
No. Clinical monoplace chambers pressurize the entire interior with 100% oxygen at 2.0–3.0 ATA, cost $94,000+, and are used in hospitals under a trained technician. The OB-H301 pressurizes with compressed air, delivers 90% oxygen through a mask, and is designed for home and small commercial wellness use. Different product class.
How much floor space does the OB-H301 need?
The chamber itself occupies 1.4 m². The 3-in-1 oxygen source adds another 0.42 m². Total footprint about 1.9 m², plus 50 cm of clearance above the chamber for ventilation and access to the relief valve. Ceiling height 200 cm minimum, 210 cm recommended.
Will it fit through my door?
The chamber ships as a single assembled unit. Front-to-back it’s 140 cm; you’ll need a doorway at least 105 cm wide to clear the 100 cm chamber body plus handling clearance. Measure your doorways, hallway turns, and any stair corners before ordering — we can send exact packaged dimensions and weight for your route.
What does it cost to run per session?
The chamber and oxygen source together draw about 2.2 kWh per hour of operation. At the 2026 US residential average of about $0.17/kWh, that’s roughly $0.37 per hour. Add periodic consumables (filter, door seal, sieve) and you’re looking at low-double-digit dollars per month for daily home use.
Who shouldn't use a hyperbaric chamber?
Talk to your physician before your first session if any of the following applies:
- Ear problems (perforated eardrum, ear tubes, middle-ear surgery, difficulty equalizing pressure)
- A cold, sinus infection, or active allergies
- Lung conditions (history of collapsed lung, COPD, emphysema, uncontrolled asthma, recent chest surgery)
- Heart or blood vessel conditions (uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart failure, recent heart attack, arrhythmia)
- History of seizures
- Recent eye surgery, especially procedures using a gas bubble
- Pregnancy
- An implanted pacemaker or neurostimulator (check with the device manufacturer first)
- Severe claustrophobia
- Under 18 (should only be used under physician guidance and adult supervision)
- Currently unwell, dehydrated, or under the influence of alcohol or sedatives
- Taking medication that may interact with elevated pressure or oxygen
If any of this applies, don’t guess — ask your doctor. Consult a physician before your first session. Not needing a prescription is about product classification, not about whether this list matters. It matters.
