What This Dental Lab Makes

Materials and designs are chosen case by case, not from a default menu. Each card below links to a product sheet with spec, indications, and sample work.

Dental Lab Turnaround You Can Book Patients Around

A quoted turnaround is only useful if it matches what actually ships, so here's what we quote and how the clock runs:

2–3days

Standard crown and bridge: 2–3 working days in lab, counted from the day your case arrives (digital or physical).

5–7days

Complex implant or full-arch: 5–7 working days.

Digital cases: faster than physical impressions by the inbound shipping time you save.

Chinese weekends and holidays: not counted toward the lab time, and shipping is paused on those days — we tell you the adjusted date up front.

For practices sending fewer than 10 cases a month, we don't charge rush fees on urgent cases. For larger accounts, we discuss capacity and set a date we can actually hit, rather than promising what sounds good and missing it by a week.

Dental Lab Remake Responsibility, in Writing

Remake disputes are faster to settle when the rules are set before the case, not negotiated after it comes back. Our policy is published rather than left to case-by-case judgement:

We remake at no charge when the issue is on our side:

Fixed restorations: open margins, open contacts, high occlusion, poor seating, inaccurate shade, visible esthetic defects, poor anatomy.

Removable: denture base seating issues, edge lifting, poor clasp design, poor esthetics, incorrect occlusion, shade mismatch on the base.

You pay for a new case (not covered as a remake) when:

  1. 01

You request a shade or material change after we fabricated the original.

  2. 02

We flagged the impression or scan quality in advance, you asked us to proceed anyway on a go-ahead-anyway basis, and the case came back compromised.

  3. 03

The prep changes after delivery (unless the original case was already in a remake cycle).

  4. 04

You send a new impression, new scan, new design, or swap the material — those are new cases.

24h

How to report: inside 24 hours of receiving the case, send the case number, patient ID, product, reason, and photos. We log it against the original prescription and send our responsibility call back to you in writing. If a case fails our internal QC before it ships, we remake it automatically without asking you first. Full policy, line by line →

Digital Workflow and File Compatibility for Your Dental Lab Cases

Any modern intraoral scanner output works. We accept STL, PLY, OBJ, and DCM (3Shape native scan format), plus editable exocad and 3Shape CAD files if you design in-house.

Design of Model and Crown in Istar dental lab

Three service modes:

01

Full production: you send the scan, we design and fabricate.

02

CAM-only: you design, we mill and sinter.

03

CAD-only: we design, you fabricate (or send to another lab for milling).

Design approval before fabrication: we send screenshots, STL previews, or printed try-in models for your sign-off before milling begins. Material substitutions and significant design changes require written confirmation.

Zirconia shrinkage control: compensation values follow the material manufacturer's spec, every new batch is validated with test samples, and standard test blocks run on every production batch to catch calibration drift early.

Dental Laboratory Compliance and Audit Documentation

If your organization requires supplier verification, we maintain the standard audit kit:

Per-case traceability: every case gets a unique ID linking the assigned technician, equipment, material batch, and QC results. Records archived three months by default, longer on request. We provide material batch records, country of origin, certs of conformity, and biocompatibility docs (ISO 10993) on request within authorized scope.

Supplier agreements and audits: we sign NDAs, quality agreements, and supplier contracts, and we complete onboarding questionnaires and annual audit forms. For product safety investigations, we work through our US agent, UK agent, or EU authorized representative depending on your market.

Our dental laboratory operates under a documented quality system with procedures, batch validation, equipment logs, and corrective-action tracking.

Inside the Dental Lab

A routine zirconia case follows one continuous chain:

  • Removable cases follow a parallel chain through model, framework or 3D-printed base, tooth setup, waxing, flasking, packing and curing, finishing, and QC.

  • Full-arch and implant superstructures are routed to dedicated teams rather than batched with routine production.

  • Milling, 3D printing, porcelain, and resin workflows are physically separated to prevent cross-contamination.

Normal-season monthly throughput across categories:

~2,000

bridge cases ·

~20

All-on-X arches ·

~4,000

dentures

Scaling To ~3,000 · ~40 · ~6,500 During Peak Season.

Factory visits are welcome at both of our sites. If you cannot travel, we run live video walk-throughs of specific production lines or workstations.

How to Start Working With Our Dental Lab

01

New customers: send a digital case to our data transfer platform, or ship a physical impression using your own account or a prepaid label from us. We confirm receipt the same business day and verify completeness before production.

02

Trial case: we accept single-case trials. Many customers start with one or two cases to validate shade matching, margin fit, and shipping before scaling up. Our active roster currently includes 400+ individual dentists, 100+ clinics, and 50+ partner labs.

03

Ongoing cooperation: each customer gets a dedicated account manager, a technical contact, and a private communication channel (email, WhatsApp, portal, or video conferencing). We work in English for case discussions, technical meetings, and compliance documentation.

Dental Lab FAQ

Pricing is case-dependent (unit count × material × implant components × design complexity) and includes design, model, components, packaging, and shipping. Contact our sales manager with your case profile — material preferences, average monthly volume, and target markets — and we will send a current B2B price sheet along with any technical documentation you need.

For dentists and clinics, no minimum as long as you can cover international shipping on small shipments. For a partner dental lab, we usually require monthly lab fees of at least $500 to make the shipping economics work for both sides.

Bank transfer or PayPal. New customers can apply for net 30 credit terms. Invoicing is typically per batch; monthly statements are available for high-volume accounts. We can include your clinic case numbers, patient identifiers, or PO numbers on each invoice.

The customer. Our outbound shipping cost is charged to the customer; on returns above a certain value threshold, we cover the freight, otherwise the customer covers part of it. Carriers we use: DHL, FedEx, UPS, and SPIDER (France). You can also ship on your own account.

Address changes are possible until the package is handed to the courier; after that, the courier is your contact. Split orders can be arranged before milling or sintering starts. Once a case is on the mill or in the furnace, splitting is not practical.

We only need enough to identify the case — an internal clinic ID works, patient full names are not required. Case data stays on the production floor as a numeric ID; coordinators who do see patient details sign confidentiality agreements. Original scans, designs, and clinical records remain the customer's property; we hold a working copy for the duration of the case and delete per the agreement.

No. We do not approach the end customers of partner labs. Packaging, labels, prescriptions, and all customer-facing documents can be unbranded on request.

Send stump shade plus target shade using any current shade guide (VITA Classical, VITA 3D-Master, or an Ivoclar guide), and include clinical photos — ideally one with a shade tab in the frame under natural light. For high-esthetic anterior cases, note any special requests (translucency at the incisal edge, characterization, surface texture) in the Rx. If a case needs a custom shade match, we can arrange a video review with the technician before fabrication.

Five is the generally accepted threshold, and even then only with suitable abutment bone support, favorable occlusion, and controlled parafunction. Each abutment should carry no more than one pontic; longer spans concentrate stress at the connectors and increase chipping or fracture risk under lateral loads.

We work with major original-manufacturer platforms (Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Zimvie, Dentsply Sirona, Neodent, MIS, Megagen, Hiossen, Osstem, and others) and with validated compatible components where appropriate. For every implant case, confirm the system, platform, and abutment type in the Rx — compatible components have different tolerances and warranty terms than original parts, and we flag the choice back to you before fabrication.
